Our joint report with Oxford Economics on "The Economic Contribution of BAE Systems to the UK Economy in 2006" is now downloadable from this website.

Geoeconomics assessed the company´s contribution to local and regional economic development across the UK, based on a unique geographical analysis of BAE Systems´ employment and supplier networks.

This rare quantitative picture of one of the UK´s leading knowledge economy employers shows that BAE Systems "bridges the North-South Divide", particularly through its major knowledge-intensive manufacturing operations in the North West region.

The report underlines the importance of understanding how Britain"s corporate geography shapes regional and local competitiveness.
