Geoeconomics is a research and strategy consultancy which specialises in sustainable economic development as a global-local agenda for governments, businesses and third sector organisations. Understanding the dynamics and impacts of the modern economy – an economy driven by intellectual and social capital – is an immense challenge for policy makers and business leaders at all levels. What practical steps should organisations take to tackle the economic, social, environmental and ethical issues that are already apparent and universal? To address these needs for understanding and solutions we carry out research and consultancy projects in three areas – sustainable economies, social enterprise and investment and corporate responsibility. We have built up international and UK reputations in all of these fields. Geoeconomics is a fusion of economics and geography. As such we draw on state of the art ideas and methodologies from both disciplines to offer a unique set of decision-support tools for clients.
