Geoeconomics Case Study - Esmée Fairbairn Foundation

Client testimonial

"Geoeconomics produced a thorough and thoughtful piece of work which will be an invaluable contribution to the Foundation´s future approach to funding community finance work."

Nicola Pollock, Programme Director − Social Change, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation

The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, one of the largest independent grantmaking foundations in the UK, makes grants to organisations which aim to improve the quality of life for people and communities in the UK. The Foundation commissioned Geoeconomics to undertake a review of its grant making for community finance organisations made between 2001 and 2005. The Foundation was presented with a review and analysis of 55 grants, stakeholder interviews and a report of review findings, including recommendations about a funding strategy to maximise its effectiveness as a funder in this area. The results were used to inform the Foundation’s future strategic direction. Geoeconomics Case Study - Esmée Fairbairn Foundation
